Shelby Tube Ejector

Ideal for collecting undisturbed soil samples efficiently.  The sample rest in the picture is not included. 

Designed with consolidation testing in mind.

This design is for 76 cm (2 1/2 feet) long Shelby tubes.

The ejector has a unique design that holds the Shelby with steel rods, making it light and significantly cheaper than the options available in the market.
The ejector, as shown, withstands the load from clay exceeding 150 kPa of shear strength.
The ejector is equipped with a hexagonal bolt head that makes the initial set and the return very fast using a battery-powered 1/2" drill.

Sample Rest

Securely holds samples for accurate testing and analysis. Designed for undisturbed consolidation samples.

The sample rest, is equipped with a strip of Teflon at its bottom to match the alignment of the invert of the Shelby to avoid bending the sample and disturbing it as it's ejected out.  The rest also saves time as it avoids the placement of a complicated platform to receive the sample.
